History Of Club

The Laf A Lots are a San Francisco based car club that was established in 1960 by Bill Fitzgerald and Ed DeKort. Back then it was just those guys and a 1950 Chevy rolling around this great city that we call home. Ed passed away in 1965 from Leukemia but his stories have lived on through the club. The Laf A Lots name then laid dormant till Bill finished his 1937 Ford in 1996. Two days and two phone calls later the Laf A Lots had its newest members and co-vice presidents Dave Barci and Dennis Philipe. With the help of these newest members the club has grown to what we are today.

As of January 2010 we have 28 Members co host an event called The Last Laf in March, host an Annual Get Together in San Francisco at 17th and Wisconsin in July and host a toy drive in December which donates hundreds of toys to SF General Hospital.

Special acknowledgement goes out to Bill Fitzgerald (Wishbone) Founder and President of the Laf A Lots.
